Functions and Indications : To treat chronic nephritis, chronic pyelonephritis, prostatitis, urinary retention, hypothyroidism, edema due to dystrophia, diabetes mellitus, chronic bronchitis, neurasthenia.

Overview : Jin Kui Shen Qi Wan is one of the most classic and popular formulas in Chinese medicine.
It contains herbs to strengthen the kidney yang and is used in cases of diabetes where cold symptoms are present, chronic asthma cases where asthma is worse in winter, hypothyroidism where the person is cold, pale or tired and wants to sleep. Also impotence, lowered sex drive and infertility. Jinkui Shenqi Wan is commonly taken for 3 to 6 months.

Ingredients : Radix Rehmanniae (shou di), Fructus Corni (shan zhu yu), Rhizoina Diosco Reae(shan yao), Cortex Moutan (mu dan pi), Poria (fu ling), Rhizoma Alismatis (ze xie), Cortex Cinnamomi (rou gui), Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae (niu xi), Radix Polygoni Mulitflori (he shou wu),
Fructus Lycii (gou qi zi), Fructus Schisandrae (wu wei zi), Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (zhi fu zi).

Usage and Dosage : Oral, take 4-5g (20-25 pills) each time, twice a day.
